We are building the first-ever open-source global map of civil society organisations working with and for women affected by the criminal legal system — and we need your help to make it as complete as possible.
This field is underfunded, under-documented, and often overlooked. Too many organisations are working in isolation, unaware of who else is doing this work — in their region, their language, their area of focus. This map changes that.
When it launches in 2026, the map will be free for anyone to use — searchable by country, region, and type of work. It will be shared with funders, media, and networks who are already excited about what it can do. Being on it means more visibility, more connection, and more collaboration.
If you work with or for women who have been arrested, are on trial, are incarcerated, or have been released — or with their children and families — we want to hear from you. This includes:
Organisations led by women with lived experience
Legal advocates and legal aid providers
Health, education, and service providers
Researchers, policy organisations, and think tanks
Networks and coalitions
You can choose to appear with full details or simply as a pin on the map with your information kept private.
Please fill it in — and then think: who else should be on this map? A partner organisation, a group you’ve collaborated with, a network you’re part of? Send them the link. Every organisation added makes this resource more powerful for everyone.
