Tech Changed My Life.

Sometimes I ask myself this question:

Where would I have been if tech never found me?

Four years ago, I was a sick child who had just been told to stop working because of my health.

I was struggling with:

Bad health.

Zero source of income.

Zero skills.

Depression.

Fast forward four years—I'm living a life I couldn’t even dream of back then.

If tech hadn’t crossed my path, maybe I’d still be stuck in a draining job, quietly shrinking my dreams to fit a life I didn’t even want. Maybe I’d still be doubting myself every time I saw people online building businesses, landing global roles, or creating things that mattered.

But tech didn’t just give me skills.

It gave me options.

It gave me confidence.

It gave me a reason to dream bigger than my surroundings.

I still remember my first small project with a friend. It wasn’t perfect, but for the first time, I felt powerful. I earned ₦1,500. From that tiny step, doors began to open:

Opportunities I never thought I’d qualify for.

Income that reshaped how I saw myself.

A community that celebrates growth instead of competition.

Friendships that continue to shape my journey.

Tech found me when I was close to settling for “just enough.” It reminded me that where you start doesn’t define where you can go.

So when I meet people who doubt themselves—thinking they’re too late, too inexperienced, or too ordinary—I think back to that question.

Where would I have been if tech never found me?

Probably still searching for a version of me I didn’t even know existed.

But here I am.

And if it could happen for me, it can happen for you too.

From someone who is still growing, to you—

I wish you the very best in your journey.
