It’s been a while… I’m still here! Here’s a new little poem I wrote as I was reflecting on God’s faithfulness in the past. As time goes on, I am learning to more naturally remind myself of God’s past faithfulness when I look ahead to uncertainty, changing seasons, or think of friends/family struggling with different health issues. I hope it’s an encouragement for you.

Through all the valleys I have been, Through all the twisting ways, Through all the troubles I have seen— He has still been good. Through all the black and starless nights, Through all the cloudy days, Through all the times I've had no light— He has still been good. Through all my soul's lukewarm pursuits, Through all my heartless praise, Through all my lack of worthy fruit— He has still been good. Through all my life, from year to year, Through every different phase, Through every joy and every fear— He has still been good. So when I see the mountains loom, Or storm clouds dark and gray— I know that he will lead me through, For he is always good.
