Our hearts are opening.
More of our feminine power is returning.
But every expansion is met by doubt that closes us again.
The quiet instinct to keep self-judgement close as a way to protect ourselves.
We convince ourselves we’re protecting against disappointment, loss, or failure.
That we’re staying realistic.
That we’re protecting everything we’ve worked so hard to build.
Yet, what we’re often protecting is the version of ourselves we’ve already outgrown.
There are moments you can feel the call for more.
Not because you’re meant to become someone different.
But because you’re ready to become more fully yourself.
So much of your power feels so close,
and somehow just beyond your reach.
This morning, the song Higher Love by Steve Winwood dropped in.
“... Bring me a higher love”
It reminded me that the work has never been about trying harder, doing more, or doing better than another person.
It’s who you become while doing what you’re here to do.
A love that is greater than fear.
Greater than self-protection.
Greater than the need to prove ourselves.
Greater than the need to get something before we’re willing to give something.
Because when we choose from that place of love, something shifts.
Our work begins to carry a different frequency.
Our presence deepens.
Our creations become extensions of who we are instead of attempts to become someone.
a quote by Kahlil Gibran that I’ve always loved.
But I don’t think I’d ever embodied it until a client reflected my work to me.
Amanda said,
“You gave me the gift of really being able to verbalize what it was that I wanted to do, wanted to be, and wanted to offer inside of my own business.”
As she spoke these words, I felt a wave of love wash over me.
I realized something I had never been able to put into words myself.
It’s about helping someone find language for what their heart has always known.
Until what they feel can finally be spoken.
Because when the heart finds language, its expression finds its way into the world.
Work is love made visible.
