THIS has been sitting on my heart for months.
And I know THIS to be the practice to deepen now.
Because it leads to the next breakthrough, for me.
It’s also for you, who’s fed up with questioning if you’re meant for more.
Because you know you are.
It’s a matter of aligning yourself with it.
It’s about creation.
The creation of your evolution.
And it comes back to who you are, who you’ll become, and who you’ve been.
There’s this idea of becoming someone new in order to achieve the next level of success.
It makes sense.
But it eludes me.
So, naturally, we think about how to be different from who we’ve been.
And look at what we need to change to bring something different.
What comes to mind is the example of following a strict diet for weight loss.
It works.
But some of those successes eventually regain the weight.
Then what is the real needle that moves the haystack?
Not only to create change.
But to create long-lasting change as a result of transformation.
Not a rebound lover.
Or a one-hit-wonder kind of result.
But a next-level evolution that brings a next-level reality.
And it’s not an external focus on a to-do list.
It’s the conscious choosing of who you are.
THIS is the experience I want to explore while you create the next project, relationship, or legacy you’ve been wanting to share.
And allow a sense of excitement about meeting your old self along the way.
All of the old patterns, beliefs, and personalities that, at some point, we thought were what kept us back.
Maybe they’re not simply what’s holding us back.
Maybe they’re showing us exactly where the change gets to happen.
And how wonderful it is that we can rewrite them?
But underneath that was the real fear:
Will anyone want this?
How am I supposed to talk about it?
Will anyone see it?
Am I enough to lead it?
There it is.
The truth behind the fear is that the focus of my consciousness wasn’t where I wanted it to be.
It was fixated on imposter syndrome.
I’m going to keep noticing.
But I’ll share one more thought that came from the noticing.
When they say changing the direction of a flight happens through half-degree or one-degree increments at a time.
I think about our evolution the same way.
Maybe we don’t suddenly become someone new.
Maybe we meet the old version of ourselves, again and again, and choose differently.
Half a degree.
One degree.
Until we’re heading somewhere entirely different.
Focus becomes how you meet yourself in every response, before the outside results start to show.
