As you know, last week, we asked our West MI Indivisible members to participate in an endorsement vote for US Senate and Governor. We needed 60% participation in order to endorse; our local group did not meet that threshold and therefore did not endorse as West MI Indivisible.
However, the Michigan Indivisible network of local groups (SWIM) did meet the threshold in the US Senate race and voted to endorse Abdul El-Sayed in the US Senate Primary. This Michigan-wide endorsement prompted Indivisible National to hold a state-wide Indivisible membership endorsement vote, starting this weekend.
Tonight, June 27, an email will go out from national Indivisible asking people to participate in this endorsement process for a national endorsement. IF YOU WOULD LIKE TO PARTICIPATE, click HERE to make sure you are registered for the link to vote. This is a quick turnaround because of the upcoming primary deadline, so to insure your inclusion in the vote, we advise you to register upon receipt of this Action Alert.
The deadline for voting is Monday, 11:59 pm. The invitation to vote is scheduled to be sent this evening, Saturday, June 27.
