Provoker, an American post-punk band from the San Francisco Bay Area, has been making waves in the alternative music scene since their formation in 2015. Originally conceived as a solo project by Jonathon Lopez to create scores for fictional horror films, the band evolved when Lopez collaborated with singer Christian Crow Petty, blending Lopez's synth-driven experimentation with Petty's R&B-influenced vocals.
