  • Atlantic basin comes back to life early next week with models showing a hurricane in the Main Development Region

  • Major Hurricane Lala continues well away from Hawaii in Central Pacific

  • Another hurricane will form Southeast of Hawaii —> next name is Moke — and head toward the Hawaiian Islands but impacts are uncertain

  • Tropical Storm Saudel has formed in the Western Pacific away from Guam — expected to become a powerful Super Typhoon.

Saudel is just getting underway with a large circulation but no inner-core — yet. Another 24-hours for the convection to fill in as the pressure falls.

The entire Pacific basin is lit up — Super El Niño ACE Machine into early September
