I’ve been teasing exciting news for a while now—we all know how the wheels of publishing turn slowly. Well, the day is finally here to share: I’ve signed with an agent!
Laura Zats of Headwater Literary fell in love with THE PASSING OF EIR LAHREN and I’m so excited to work with someone so dedicated to the art of writing and who loves the weird and undefinable. We’ll be working together on EIR LAHREN other future projects. Stay tuned for works featuring the gothic, horror, fabulism, and the undefinable. She’ll also be managing subrights for both Nel Bently and Blood of Titans.
If you’re interested in hearing about my querying journey and seeing my stats and the query that got me full requests, I’ll be sharing that as a separate post soon. For now, here’s a brief success story interview I did with Query Tracker.
Laura totally understands this project, and while she has some suggestions, they are all in the same direction I was hoping to go—part of what I love about working with her is her editorial style. I’m diving into revisions of the manuscript now!
I’ll share more of Ivigh and his complicated, messy story soon, and keep your eye out for my usual update next week with everything I’ve been devouring lately.
Until we chat again, happy reading and take good care,
