Body horror is a form of science fiction in which characters are confronted with the decay, viral invasion, stretching, fusing, or mutation of human flesh. Examples include The Fly, The Thing, The Substance, and Dead Ringers.
Nina sees body horror at play in the fascination with Trump’s uncanny allure to Natalie Harp, his young assistant and possible mistress.
