Heidi Blake’s June profile of Andrew Tate, the proud sex trafficker, for The New Yorker is one of the best articles of the summer.
Not only did Blake investigate Tate’s alleged history of the grisliest kind of sexual abuse, but she revealed how Tate exploits lost boys with an expensive course in how to recruit women into “sexual slavery.” Blake’s article appeared in June, and Tate, now 39, was arrested on a welter of new U.K. charges in July.
Now we face a terrible possibility. As Andrew Tate and his brother Tristan sit in solitary confinement in Miami, facing extradition to be tried in the U.K., will Trump intervene on their behalf? Trump’s sons are close to Tate, and Tate is an outspoken Trump supporter.
