Everything is happening all the time.
Today, one of my housemates is moving out while another celebrates his birthday. Tomorrow brings two more close friends’ birthdays and an election. Here’s to hoping we have an election result tomorrow and a peaceful transfer of power…
And today will be my first day commuting to the Luma office! After sending this email, I’ll head downstairs to pump up my bike tires. It feels like a strange return to normalcy.
On Saturday, my co-founder Dan moved to San Francisco. He’s renting a two bedroom apartment on the Embarcadero and we’re setting up Luma’s office at of one of those bedrooms.
Yesterday, we set up a couch, a couple desks, and a table on the patio. I’ll share a photo of the set up soon.
Recently, we spent some time updating the splash section of lu.ma. Over the next couple months, we’re working on an overall brand refresh. So I am in search of inspiration.
Question: Which brands / websites do you love because of their design?
Please, do not say Apple / Stripe. And just include anything that you really love the design of. It could be a company, an Instagram account, or a piece of art. I’ll share the results in the next week update!
