Hello everyone!

I’ve been going through a pretty stressful moment lately. I had lost track of my craft (and myself). I’ve been trying to focus on my job, on getting back to my online presence, starting from YouTube.

I opened a second Instagram account called vespergrimoire where I share snippets of my written practice, from spells to prayer and poetry.

Every week we draw a Tarot Card to give us guidance, and this week it was the Queen of Swords:

Only later this week, while doing my research for this upcoming Lunation, I discovered the deep connection between this card and this New Moon in Gemini.

The Wayward Vesper comes out 1-2 times a month, upon a Full Moon or a New Moon.

Each Vesper includes 13 questions (or Journaling Prompts) gathered from 13 tarot cards pulled specifically for each lunar event.

Between the 14 and 15 of June we’re experiencing a New Moon in Gemini!

This New Moon encourages us to rearrange our thoughts and speak our truths and desires into existence! Thoughts become words and words manifest! That’s why we call them spells!

Gemini is ruled by Mercury.
Its symbol is the Twins. Gemini’s energy is about duality and balance.
Its tarot card is “The Lovers” a card that often gets linked to romantic matters, but that is actually deeply tied to the concept of inner balance and equilibrium.

It is a fertile time for communication:

Mercury symbolizes communication, our thought process and patterns, as well as travel.

Its associated Tarot card is “The Magician”;
It grants us the power to alchemise our reality through communication.
What we communicate to ourselves and to the Universe through our thoughts and words, becomes our reality!

Gemini is the third sign of the astrological year, and it is linked to the 3rd House; The 3rd House rules (you guessed it) communication, language, thought patterns, learning processes and short journeys:

This New Moon is a powerful time to manifest through communication!
~ Write down your desired reality!

~ Talk to the Moon (even though we can’t really see Her, she’s there and she’s listening!)
~ Whatever truth comes up this weekend, even the unpleasant ones, take them as a gift;

The gift of knowledge and the power of redirection!

So, the following 13 questions are intended to help us gain clarity over what new intentions we want to set, what limiting self beliefs need to be dismantled, what conversations are waiting for us. Let the cards open up the communication channel between you and the Universe.

If you’d like to, dim the lights and light a candle (you can check colour correspondences to pick your candle accordingly, but remember that white is always a good option). You can also put on some instrumental music to set the vibe and add a scent of your choice.
