The third and final Grand Tour of the season arrives with an irresistible blend of historical gravity and modern dominance. The Vuelta a España has long been the wild card of three-week racing—a chaotic, brutal, and unpredictable stage where legends either consolidate their legacy or watch it slip away on impossible gradients.

This year, the narrative centers on generational supremacy. Tadej Pogačar lining up as the overwhelming favorite means every statistical book in cycling history is on high alert. Should he secure the red jersey, he becomes only the ninth rider in history to win all three Grand Tours, joining the elite club of Merckx, Hinault, Anquetil, Contador, Froome, Gimondi, Vingegaard, and Nibali.

Standing in his path is a man who practically owns the Spanish grand tour: Primož Roglič. Seeking an outright record fifth title, Roglič arrives with the backing of history, alongside perennial podium contender Enric Mas and former winner Sepp Kuss. With support stars like João Almeida and Jay Vine playing key tactical roles, and stage hunters like Kaden Groves, Mads Pedersen, Wout van Aert, and Magnus Cort contesting the fast finishes, the stage is set for a historic three weeks.
