Hasn’t it been proven that once you write something down or talk about it, you start to see more instances of it? I don’t have the wherewithal to look up a source to cite for this, but it is a phenomenon I believe to be true. And ever since I shared six makers I wanted to put on your radar in June, even more have cropped up. So — eight more excellent accounts and shops to follow below!
This shop came on my radar with their bag charms that I included in a roundup in April and now I see they are making bags and all sorts of accessories in the same vein. I’m always impressed when someone is able to apply their aesthetic across different objects. Imagine pulling one of their cowhide wrapped notebooks out of your bag at a meeting — talk about a power move. The kind of thing that would prompt everyone to be like, “where did you get that?!”.
Damn if the chonky shape of these rings contrasted with the geometric, refracted shine of the gems doesn’t just tickle my brain. Most of this Norwegian jewelry maker’s rings are formed from clay, allowing them to come in an array of nuanced and unexpected colors, but she does have a few that are made with silver and diamonds that have been lingering in my Etsy cart and tempting me every time I open the website (something I do to torture myself).
This is a shop that sells a LOT of socks and a select few excellent tote bags that I’m more excited about (though I have learned that patterned sheer socks are a powerful accessory for sartorial surprise and delight). Any one of these purses would be an outfit-maker.
