Back in LA + Hotel Café

Sunshine, familiar faces, and the smell of Jasmine… I’m so happy to be back in LA!

I’ll be playing Hotel Café on April 11 — and it’s hitting a little different knowing it’s closing after 25 years. That room has been a big part of my LA life for a long time. A lot of firsts there. A lot of people I love tied to that space.

So this feels less like a “show” and more like… just being together in that room one last time.

Last time we were all there was March 7, 2020 — right before everything shut down. We had no idea. I still think about that night. We were elbow bumping and looking at each other like… is this okay? It ended up being such a beautiful night with people I love, in a space that means so much to me.

So I’m really excited for one last go — joined by my dear friend and collaborator David Green on guitar, along with David Jones (bass) and Garrett Ray (drums). Planning to keep things intimate (ditching the tech for the night 😉), mostly acoustic — songs from Tell the Truth, Holy Now, maybe a couple stripped IAMEVE moments.

Would very much love to see you there.
