Riding my bike up the beach and seeing all these people wearing hoodies and drinking hot beverages in January. Thinking they were coming to South Florida for Sun and Sand. Reading social media posts complaining about ruined vacations.
HA! It’s January in South Florida. It could be 80 degrees or 30 degrees or 50 degrees or 70 degrees. AND ALL IN ONE DAY!
I won’t even let people visit any longer in January or February. For MY Sanity!
But maybe it’s time to reverse that rule and write a visitor weather contract for South Florida in January/February. Maybe hotels should offer them as well. Something along these lines…………………….
Dear guests, you agree not to complain should it not be beach weather. It’s still probably fucking warmer than where you came from. (Hopefully)
