Has the Paramount/Warners merger been stopped in its tracks? And where does the movement to save cinema go from here? Today on Whats Wrong? I am joined by Future Film Coalition head Jax Deluca and documentarian/activist Marjan Safinia ( Marj).

If the tide has turned in public opinion about the Warners/Paramount deal, that turn started with The Future Film Coalition, which launched the Block the Merger campaign back in January when few in the industry were willing to make a peep about it at all.

Beyond that, the FFC is emerging as the most important voice in the independent film world – bringing together the many disparate threads and concerns under one umbrella advocacy organization. It’s a great tale and it was a fascinating discussion with two great champions for this sector which is the heartbeat of entertainment. Give it a watch!
