Let’s be honest. Most of us have wasted money on gym memberships we barely use, downloaded workout plans we never finish, and convinced ourselves we need “the right setup” to start.
That’s the fitness industry doing what it does best, overcomplicating something that should be simple.
Here’s the truth: your body is already the equipment.
Bodyweight training works because it forces your muscles to move together, not in isolation. That means better strength, better coordination, and real-life functionality (like, you know, carrying groceries without dying halfway up the stairs).
It also burns fat while preserving muscle, which is the whole point if you care about body composition, not just seeing a smaller number on the scale.
And the barrier to entry? Basically nothing.
You need:
Your body (non-negotiable)
A small space (living room counts)
20–30 minutes
A willingness to be slightly uncomfortable
That’s it.
No machines. No waiting. No excuses.
Just movement that actually happens.
(I do this especially in the cold or rainy days, when I don’t feel like going out and coming from the Midwest, it happens often. No excuses!)
