The car is still loaded with pots and the display from the fair. I didn't have a chance to unload it, as I had to work night shift at the big paper factory. One more night of nights, then after sleeping tomorrow we need to run errands that we were not able to do because of the busy show schedule. Food shopping, taking the cats to the vet, and later in the week visiting family in upstate New York.

I am looking forward to attending the Washington County Fair in Greenwich, New York. The fair is quite large, with dairy and other activities that are quite fun to see and take part in. I also need to start making for the shows in October. I need to now work to build an inventory going into the fall shows, as if I wait I may run into issues not having enough pots.

While some of these writings sound as if I might be complaining, I do look forward to the challenges, and I feel confident that I will be able to make work to support the fall shows that are on the way. One thing I worry about somewhat is that I use all my vacation days to do the shows for the pots rather than for actually taking vacations. In the new year I may need to rethink how I allocate my days off.

I hope to have a fun time making work and making for all the shows. When there are shows it means that more pots will be made and that I'll be trying new things. One of the changes may need to be a revamp of my glazes, as two of the ingredients in the glaze are now unavailable. All of this is quite exciting, and I am excited to find out what might happen next.

If I were living yesterday a second time: I would have done the same things. I needed rest before work.

Things I am grateful for: A trip to the Washington County Fair to look forward to, dairy cows and all.

If I get to live to be 86, I might only have: 12,588 days left.
