🏉 It is Peebles 7s weekend at the Gytes with the first games played yesterday evening when the U16 teams took to the pitch. Saturday brings the first round of the 2026-27 Kings of the 7s competition. Melrose came out on top here in 2024 and 2025 - can they make it three in a row? Today’s action kicks off today at 2pm and the pools are as follows:
Pool A: Melrose, Peebles Reds, Selkirk
Pool B: Edinburgh Accies, Hawick, Presidents 7
Pool C: Kelso, Boroughmuir, Jed Forest
Pool D: Peebles, Gala (teams will play each other twice)

What else is going on at the Gytes?
Borders Clan vs Peebles All Stars is today (Saturday) at 6pm and on Sunday the Colts 7s tournament starts at 1.30pm.
Ticket prices on Saturday are £15 for adults, senior citizens £12 and under 18s get in free. On Sunday entry is £5.
The Festival of Sevens disco afterparty is at the Gytes on Saturday night from 7pm - 12 midnight. £10 cash on entry. Over 18s only.

Vale of Leithen are at home to Dalkeith Thistle, k/o is 2.30pm at Victoria Park, Innerleithen.
Linton Hotspur host Arniston Rangers at New Moor Park, k/o 2.30pm.
Leithen Rovers host Selkirk Victoria, k/o 2pm.
Tweeddale Rovers played last night - an away game against Arniston Rangers U20s.
