The Enabling Act was the act that allowed Hitler to take full power.

What did the Enabling Act do? This act allowed the Third Reich to issue laws without permission from parliament, which further allowed the Nazis to take complete control.

We all know what Trump's end goal is.

Unfortunately, everyone, even MAGAs, understands that Trump desires to dismantle the United States of America. He wants to make it Trumplandia. He wants to kill and kick out anyone who opposes him or doesn’t conform.

The Project 2025 website explicitly states everything the Trump administration will do.

Yes, I know people have made breakdowns for Project 2025 already, but I have more to say.

What does this sound like to you?

It sounds like the usurping of power and concentrating it into a dictatorship. This has been a long time coming. The Heritage Foundation has been preparing for this extreme conservative wave in the United States since 1979, they know and understand what they need to do to take control of the US Government.

We are just now understanding what to do in response to some of the policies they are preparing for. We must look into history and find our answers.

This bill has been introduced to allow the President to submit a plan to restructure agencies. Subsequently, the reorganized plan would go to Congress which would only allow a vote and no filibuster. Further, the Senate would only need a majority for this new plan to pass.

Donald Trump has taken dozens upon dozens of illegal actions since becoming president in January of 2025. The only assumption we can have of Trump being given the power to reconstruct agencies is that he will cut all of the ones that do not serve his desires which align heavily with the Russian propaganda.

Within the Bill “as so redesignated, by striking “agency” in each place the term appears and inserting “executive department”; and” is stated four times with a slight variation such as “as so redesignated, by striking “new agency” and inserting “new executive department”. Further, we see that it plans to consolidate the government by eliminating large swaths of federal workers and “unnecessary and burdensome rules, regulations, and other requirements” in order to decrease “the cost and difficulty of compliance thereof”.

More details will be discussed in my next article with the purpose of explaining each and every change that The Reorganizing Act of 2025 (HR 1295) discusses. This is the link to the article breaking down the bill.

This bill has been compared to the aforementioned Enabling Act from Nazi Germany.

HR 1295 is currently in the introduced stage but if this bill is passed in Congress, the executive branch would reorganize and take responsibility for other agencies that they would be abolishing or consolidating.

Historically, when hatred rises — fascism rises socialism rises alongside it.

The non-violent resistance and defiance in the Netherlands after Germany took over the country were significant. While boycotts and protests seem to be ineffective short-term, in the long run the unity and resistance is the reason sanity, culture, and identity are maintained in the nation that fought against fascism.

Queen Wilhelmina of The Netherlands refused to protect the Nazis. Using this method, our troops can show resistance against the upcoming authoritarian dictator by refusing the orders of Trump. They do not have a duty to the President rather they have a duty to the constitution. Soldiers understand this, they understand that their Commander in Chief does not have authority over the Constitution.

There is a veteran organization that will be marching on D.C. on July 27th demanding that change be made. If change is not made there will be an alternate organization writing up legislation. You can see more of their background on a recent episode of Dean Withers podcast.

Refusal to participate in groups and unions that would support the Nazi Regime such as the “German Doctors Guild” and “Cultural Guild” for artists fractured the power and territory the Nazis had. In Norway the “Norwegian Teachers Union” would require all teachers to join under Nazi control, immediately teachers sent in letters stating that they would not be joining (risking their life by adding their names and addresses). They continued teaching from their homes.

Donald Trump has targeted law firms that had won against Trump in court. Covington & Burlington took no action but, a few, so far, have reached settlements with Trump assuring that they will provide him with free legal work. I want to focus on a group that did not settle, Covington & Burlington, which was targeted because of Jack Smith’s involvement in a suit against Trump.

I could make an extremely long list of methods of defiance, but I will link them here and here.

The rise of fascism is the result of the rise of socialist or “progressive” policies and beliefs. After WWI socialism was on the rise in Italy and even won an election in 1919 and 1920 because of their anti-war and revolutionary beliefs. Afterward, the rise of the fascist party in Italy was due to Mussolini founding the Fasci di Comattimento with the goal of reviving the feeling of May 1915 (when Italy joined WWI).

Basically, Mussolini said he wanted to go back to the “good ol’ days”. Sounds familiar.

Does it not? Maybe I should reword it, “Make Italy Great Again”.

I know by trusting history that I did not live through and using events that happened eighty to hundreds of years ago as evidence of what to expect and what to do may sound odd. I trust these events not because “History repeats” but because people are influenced by history and people are predictable.

People could have predicted this using the 2008 economic crash as evidence of the rise of fascism in America.

People could have predicted this using the Pandemic as evidence.

The feeling of neglect and misrepresentation of the regular people who did or do support the MAGA moment is the reason Americans are in this situation. While, yes, it is due to racism and bigotry, the extremely traumatic and harsh events that have taken place in the last 30 years amplified those beliefs.

We are in a moment of history, but we are a movement, not MAGA.

I do not have exact answers, I am just one person.

But for now, you need to continue to fight because if you are not willing to take risks at this moment, you will be required to take life-threatening risks within the next year.
