Petitions get signed, shared, and forgotten. They live on websites. They collect dust. They rarely move legislators and they almost never stop anything.
So why did we launch one?
Because this is one different, and we are out of time.
While you are reading this, a private company called Stardust Solutions has $75 million in funding, a team of lobbyists, and is actively working the halls of the United States Capitol to obtain authorization to spray tens of millions of tons of engineered particles into the atmosphere above every person on Earth.
It is not asking for your permission.
Why?
Because it is not required to.
While Stardust wrote its own rules— “guiding principles” it claims would never lead it astray— if you peek behind the curtain, the truth is clear:
Israeli-Canadian venture capital firm AWZ, which has a partnership with the Israeli Ministry of Defense’s Directorate of Defence Research and Development with whose strategic advisors include former directors of Mossad, and
The Agnelli family, the Italian industrial dynasty behind Fiat and Ferrari.
A 2025 peer-reviewed study published in Nature found that most Americans have never heard of geoengineering and know very little about it. The same study — conducted with a national survey of over 3,000 Americans — found more opposition than support for solar geoengineering research, and a strong preference that any such research be conducted by universities, not private companies.
Let that sink in:
Stardust Solutions is a private company.
A separate peer-reviewed study — conducting focus groups across 22 countries — found the same pattern globally. Across the world, publics consistently show lower familiarity and lower support for solar geoengineering compared to other approaches to climate change. The same study found a strong global preference for multilateral coordination and meaningful public engagement before any research begins — let alone deployment.
None of that has happened here: no public engagement, no multilateral body was consulted, no consent was sought anywhere. Instead, a private company raised $75 million, hired lobbyists, and began working Capitol Hill while most Americans had never heard the words “stratospheric aerosol injection” in their lives.
The science on public opinion is unambiguous: when people find out about this, they oppose it. The question is whether they find out in time to do anything about it.
That is why this Petition exists.
They have money, access, and lobbyists in rooms where decisions are being made before the public even knows to push back. A petition is how we get the public into that room.
Every person who signs the Petition has just learned that a private company is preparing to experiment on the atmosphere of the entire planet without their consent. Every signature is a constituent telling their elected representative:
“I know about this. I am watching. And I oppose it.”
A senator who meets with a Stardust lobbyist on Tuesday needs to hear from 10,000 constituents by Wednesday. That changes the conversation. That changes votes. That inspires legislation, and gives legislators courage to support it.
If Stardust begins deploying particles into the stratosphere on a permanent, continuous basis, the world could become dependent on uninterrupted spraying just to maintain current temperatures. Stop spraying — whether due to funding failure, political collapse, war, or any disruption — and global temperatures could rebound violently and rapidly. Scientists call this “termination shock,” and scientists estimate that a reduction of just 1-2% in solar energy reaching Earth resembles conditions that historically triggered ice ages. This is not a policy we can try and walk back. This is a decision that, once made, may bind every generation that follows.
Let me be clear about what The GeoFight is:
The GeoFight is a coalition of law firms, scientists, doctors, advocates, legislative analysts, and experts united to end geoengineering and weather modification programs. We pursue a coordinated legal, legislative, public education, and grassroots advocacy strategy — and we are moving all four simultaneously.
The GeoFight has already filed its first federal lawsuit, the first step in what will become a much larger legal effort focused on transparency, accountability, and the integrity of scientific data used to justify weather modification and geoengineering activities.
Litigation is a powerful tool— it compels written responses, document productions and testimony under oath and forces actors out of the shadows— but litigation, alone, does not educate the public.
Legislation, alone, does not build a coalition.
A petition, alone, does not stop a well-funded private company with lobbyists on Capitol Hill.
All three working together at the same time is what forces change. That is exactly what we are doing.
1. It educates. The moment someone reads the petition they learn something most Americans don’t know: that a private company is preparing to spray the sky above them without their consent, without government authorization, and without any federal law to stop them.
2. It organizes. Every signer becomes part of a growing coalition of advocates — lawyers, doctors, scientists, parents, farmers, veterans — who can be mobilized for the next step.
3. It pressures legislators. We will take these signatures directly to state and federal representatives. We will use them to leverage support for companion legislation. We will use them in primaries. A legislator who knows their constituents are watching votes differently than one who thinks no one is paying attention.
4. It identifies plaintiffs. If you have been harmed — or believe you have been harmed — by atmospheric modification activities, your signature is the beginning of a conversation. Litigation requires plaintiffs. Plaintiffs require awareness. This petition is how we find each other.
5. It creates a public record. If Stardust or the federal government moves to authorize this, hundreds of thousands of signatures are legal and political evidence that the public was never asked — and explicitly objected — before it happened.
The only thing that stops a well-funded private interest from shaping policy in their favor is an informed, organized, and vocal public that shows up before the decision is made.
That is why this Petition to Stop Stardust Solutions exists. That is why the timing matters. And that is why one million signatures is not an arbitrary goal — it is the number that makes a legislature pay attention.
