At one point or another, someone has or is bound to tell you to believe in yourself. That’s always sounded a little absurd to me. Quite possibly because Hollywood has been shellacking thick layers of proverbial cheese over this sentiment for 100 years and it now just sounds like a throw away line. Also which part am I believing in? Seems so vague.
However, belief is probably the single most powerful thing in our world. I’m not talking about faith or shared myths, but belief in and of itself.
