What’s a huge career risk you took that paid off?
Heidi: My album. We invested everything into it , and here we are. It paid off.
A moment in your life that people completely misunderstood?
Heidi: Everything. My whole life.
Something that you’re currently working on improving in yourself?
Heidi: My mom life.
Josie: It’s the mom guilt. It’s so real, and I’m sure your kids would not say that.
Heidi: They might. I don’t know. I don’t know.
A time that you trusted your gut when no one else agreed?
Heidi: Oh, my whole life. Again.
Josie: You’re like, again, everything. Like you said about Spencer. That was such a great answer. That was like the perfect like “you’ll see”. And you proved everyone wrong.
Heidi: Yeah. I knew. It was love at first sight when I met him, and I knew I was gonna marry him. And I loved him so much, and there was so much off camera, like when we met and all this stuff. Anyways, if our true relationship had been shown, everyone would have seen that.
Josie: They were really out to make Spencer the bad guy.
Heidi: Yeah. And that was, that was just the show.
Josie: I would, I wanna see a show where it was like you guys like really falling in love
Heidi: I know. It was so sweet and fun and funny, and it was way better.
Fill in the blank. If everyone had this one habit, it would change their life.
Heidi: I think being thankful. Be thankful for what you have. Count your blessings.
Best advice you didn’t take but wish you did?
Heidi: Oh my gosh, I don’t think I’ve ever taken anyone’s advice.
Josie: I feel like your intuition drives everything for you. That it’s not really... ‘should I take advice or should I not?’ It’s like your intuition already knows.
Heidi: I think nobody knew how to give me advice, ‘cause I was in a very rare situation left and right, and if I didn’t make the choices I made, I wouldn’t be where I am. So nobody had any previous experience on what I had gone through to go where I needed to go.
