THE BIG ONES
55th Annual Chicago Pride Parade — Sunday June 28, 11am · Steps off at Sheridan & Broadway · Free
This year’s theme, “Free to Be Proud,” reflects both how far the community has come and the work that remains. The parade steps off at 11am at Sheridan and Broadway, with viewing beginning at Grace and Broadway. The 2-mile route heads south on Broadway, south on Halsted through the heart of Northalsted, east on Belmont, back to Broadway, and east on Diversey to Cannon Drive. More than 150 entrants and nearly one million spectators are expected. Journalist Tracy Baim and civil rights leader Mona Noriega are this year’s community grand marshals. The Puerto Rican Cultural Center leads this year’s procession, highlighting the intersection of heritage, housing, and LGBTQ+ advocacy.

5th Annual Ida B. Wells Festival — Saturday June 27, 9am–6:30pm · Bronzeville (various locations) · Free
A full day celebrating Bronzeville and the legacy of Ida B. Wells — walking and bus tours, a panel on voting rights, a film screening, teen activities, a morning meditation and healing ritual, and Zumba. A meaningful way to learn the history of Bronzeville and the long tradition of Black activism that runs through it.
Logan Square Arts Festival — Friday June 26 through Sunday June 28 · Logan Square · Free
Held annually since 2009, raising tens of thousands of dollars for local nonprofits. Local artists, neighborhood restaurants, and locally crafted beer and cocktails throughout the heart of Logan Square.
Michelada Fest Chicago — Friday June 26, 5–10pm (free Community Day) & Saturday–Sunday June 27–28, 5–10pm (ticketed) · Union Park · Free Friday / GA Sat-Sun
Friday is a free, all-ages Community Day — built specifically so everyone can step into Michelandia. Saturday and Sunday are the full weekend pass with live music across all stages, local vendors, and interactive experiences.

Design at 329: — June 27–28 · Free
A monthly open house for one of Chicago’s most interesting design destinations. Design at 329 brings together vintage furniture, collectible objects, lighting, art, and interiors sourced by some of the city’s sharpest dealers. Equal parts gallery, showroom, and treasure hunt, it offers a glimpse into the growing market for contemporary and historic design outside the traditional retail experience.
