An absolute delight for musical lovers and haters alike. This is an old fashioned musical poking fun at old fashioned musicals. I didn’t love the TV show, so this was a vast improvement. It’s very funny and clever, and has all the trappings of a Golden Age musical — beautiful sets and costumes, a hummable score, a splendid cast, and astute direction. Read more

Liberation was an incredibly honest and genuine look into what it means to live as a woman and/or have a feminine body. And the nudity scene?? Gorgeous. There’s an expectation that nudity is inherently sexual—especially in media; however, this scene was just bodies in space being appreciated for their existence. I can’t wait for this script to be published. Read more

This show is classic, powerful, and urgently timely. Ragtime explores the immigrant experience, humanity’s struggle to understand “the other,” and the enduring realities of white privilege and racism. In today’s political climate, it is not always an easy watch, but the beauty of the voices, the scale of the cast, and the emotional honesty make this a show that matters and entertains. Read more
