Pulsar ZywOo The Chosen Mouse Gen.2 Review

Introduction

Founded in 2020, Pulsar is a gaming peripherals company based in Korea. The ZywOo The Chosen Mouse Gen.2 follows relatively quickly after the original release. Accordingly, the number of improvements is rather limited. Much like before, the shape has been designed in collaboration with the highly acclaimed CS:GO and CS2 player Mathieu "ZywOo" Herbaut, closely modeled after ZywOo's previously favored mouse, the VAXEE Outset AX Wireless. The ZywOo The Chosen Mouse Gen.2 is available in Medium and Mini size variants, weighing 61 and 57 g, respectively, which is slightly more than what the original ZywOo The Chosen Mouse weighed. If desired, the weight can be increased by inserting an internal 5.8 g weight. Internally, the ZywOo The Chosen Mouse Gen.2 still comes with Pulsar's XS-1 sensor capable of 32,000 CPI, which is a customized PixArt PAW3950. The main buttons are now outfitted with Pulsar Optical switches rated for 100 million actuations. Polling rates of up to 8000 Hz are supported in both wired and wireless operation, and the feet are made of pure PTFE. Configuration is done either in software or conveniently through a web driver. The ZywOo The Chosen Mouse Gen.2 is available either in black or pink.
