After buffering interrupted Part 1, we return to Calvary Cemetery in Queens for a walk through history, memory, and the sacrifices that demand we never look away.

We continue through the cemetery grounds, encounter some geese along the way, and visit the striking Devlin family monument. The video wraps with an unforgettable visit to final resting place of First Lieutenant Alfred Inzerelli and the incredible memorial honoring him — and his ultimate sacrifice fighting fascism.

Inzerelli and countless other Americans fought fascist dictators abroad so that future generations would not have to live under authoritarian rule. Their sacrifice is especially urgent to remember today, as the most repugnant, draft-dodging, tax-cheating con man Trump — who has praised the supposed “good things” Hitler did —attempts to destroy the American experiment.

Honoring those who defeated fascism means more than placing flowers at a monument. It means refusing to normalize the rhetoric, cruelty, scapegoating, and attacks on democracy that they fought—and died—to defeat.
