In this episode, I am lucky enough to spend half an hour in the company of bestselling author, busy writing coach and editor Roz Morris. A multi-million-selling ghostwriter, she is now getting ready to publish her second volume of narrative non-fiction, Turn Right at the Rainbow, taken from her diary of her travels with a writer’s eye.
As I am also a ghostwriter, that forms part of the discussion; however, Roz also shares her expertise as a mentor and her enthusiasm for writing from life.
We also get profound while discussing the nature of truth in memoir following The Salt Path ‘scandal’ (which we don’t discuss at all), which has encouraged many of those who write life stories to consider what ‘truth’ is, its importance and where it really lies.
Find out more about Roz and her work on her website www.rozmorris.org and her blog Nail Your Novel and on social media.
