Finally, back to my default day: Woke up early and immediately put my swim suit on; I enjoyed the pool before writing my post! The sky is a deep pale blue. Can it be both deep and pale? I just mean that it is a very pronounced pale blue perhaps because there are wispy white clouds in the sky to offset the blue. Mocha has been flying in and out of the yard, the newly born dragon fly must be somewhere about, and the scene is quiet, quiet except for the spillway and the fountain: sounds that are very soothing.

I did too much yesterday swimming and at the gym and woke up with a back that was stiffer than usual. I immediately turned on the hot tub; had to get in before the cool of the morning made it unattractive. And it was wonderful, did the trick so much that I got out and dove into the pool for my morning swim. All is as it should be, a perfect moment in time. And today I begin the rewrite of the movie script I completed two days ago.

It looks very much like Summer here. My green buddies are just hanging in there, struggling to stay green and the rocks are unadorned by the nasturtiums that grow along them. They have bloomed and died and even their viney stems have burnt away in the July sun and heat. But I like the rocks with the odd combinations of their flat planes soaking up the sun, showing their subtle colors which are so different from one another and anything but uniform which makes it fun to look at.

And here’s Mocha again with a friend or her baby, red feet padding along on the coping eager to jump into the spillway but they’re afraid of it. They must be babies, juniors as it were. Just now they flew and dipped their foot in for just a moment before hurridly pulling it out. Ah but now I see them both have finally landed on the spillway and are enjoying the wate running across their feet. They get edgy when i look over and now they both have flown away. Yes, they must be juniors learning the lay of the land and introducing themselves to me. It will take some time. But how quickly time moves. I believe these two juniors were recently in eggs being sat upon by Mocha on top of my arches covered with wisteria!
