It’s fall (almost)!
Time to reorganize my entire closet, buy a cashmere sweater and suddenly become the kind of person who owns a suede loafer in three colors.
The colors get richer. The textures get better. Jackets return. Boots return. Belts suddenly matter again. Getting dressed just becomes more interesting.
And, selfishly, I think fall is one of the easiest seasons to make an outfit look really good.
You have tons of fun pieces to work with.
A slightly richer color can make your skin look glowy. A jacket can give a simple outfit more shape. The right shoe can balance a wider trouser. Texture can make basic neutrals look far more considered. :) Even adding one extra color can take an outfit from “perfectly good” to “wait, why does this look wayy better?”
This is the part of fall fashion I love most.
