12 Things I Find Incredibly Chic

When I sat down to write this, I realized it wasn’t just about fashion, it’s people, things, styles, and brands that have been inspiring me lately. So consider this a brain dump of what’s on my radar.

1. Thoughtful Art
   I’ve been really drawn to art that feels intentional but not overly serious. Things that spark a little emotion or curiosity without screaming for attention. I love when a space feels collected rather than decorated. It just makes everything feel more personal. I just added a few pieces in my home and WOW never knew art could be this exciting. 2. A linen button-down (men and women)
   There is nothing better than a perfectly worn-in linen button-down. Slightly wrinkled, a little undone, very effortless. I love it on men, I love it on women—honestly, I love it even more when it feels a little borrowed. It just always works.

3. Wearing a typically evening piece for the daytime
   This is my favorite way to get dressed lately. Taking something that feels “too fancy” and making it daytime appropriate. A sequin skirt with a simple tank or tee, maybe a sandal—suddenly it just works. It makes getting dressed feel more playful and a lot less rule-based. Because after all clothes are meant to be worn!

   

4. Beaded shoes
   I don’t know what it is, but beaded shoes are having a moment for me. They feel a little vintage, a little special, but still easy. It’s the kind of detail that makes a simple outfit feel considered. I keep coming back to them. Ref x Courtney Grow just came out with a fun pair of beaded flip flops I am eyeing.

   

5. Customizing everything (but not noticeably)
   I love when something is customized in a way that only you really notice. A monogram, a tiny detail, a specific color choice. Nothing loud or logo-heavy, just subtle and personal. It makes things feel one-of-a-kind without trying too hard.

6. Daytime Pajamas
   There’s something so chic about leaning into pajamas during the day. Not sloppy—intentional. A matching set, styled with a sandal or a loafer, suddenly feels like an outfit. Comfort but elevated. Even a sleep dress for day time! I will be wearing this next week on my trip to Sicily.

   

7. Pencil skirts for every season
   The pencil skirt is always apart of my world. It feels polished but can still be styled in a very relaxed way. With a tank, with a sweater, with flip flops—I’m into all of it. It’s more versatile than people give it credit for.

   

8. Naming your house
   This might be niche, but I love the idea of naming your house. It gives it personality and a sense of story. Even if it’s just something you and your friends call it, it makes it feel more like a place. I think it’s kind of charming. I’m still working on mine, but I feel like it’s necessary—it gives your home a bit of a brand.

9. Framed Receipts
   I’ve been loving the idea of framing little everyday things. A receipt from a special dinner, a random moment you want to remember. It’s unexpected and feels more interesting than traditional art. Very personal, very low effort.

10. Beading Kits
    I don’t know if this is nostalgia or what, but I’ve been wanting to sit down and make something with my hands. Beading kits feel easy, creative, and a little calming. We actually made beaded anklets on the beach during my bachelorette and they became our little friendship anklets—fun and chic. It’s the kind of thing that feels small but ends up being really special.

    

11. Big Floppy Hats (Sun protection!)
    I will never stop talking about sun protection. A big floppy hat just makes sense, but it also happens to look chic. It pulls an entire look together while being practical. Honestly, more people should be wearing them.

    

12. Dua Lipa
    She can do no wrong right now. But specifically… her chic courthouse wedding moment? Obsessed. It felt effortless, modern, and just cool in a way that didn’t try too hard.

I think I’m just really drawn to things right now that feel a little more personal and a little less obvious—whether that’s a sequin skirt in the middle of the day, a perfectly undone linen button-down, or something small and customized just for me. I keep coming back to details that tell a story, like framed receipts or friendship anklets, and pieces that feel both practical and chic (a big floppy hat will always be that girl).
