Hey everyone! I want to introduce you to a new format I am trying out where I produce a monthly (perhaps bi-weekly if this goes well) trend report on a specific topic and localised to a specific region. The goal here is to take you through the current items that people are searching for and styling within a niche, peripheral trends that are (now and in the future) impacting the category, and early signals of upcoming trends.
The goal is to publish these at 12pm CET on the first business day of the month and those in my founder tier on Substack can request upcoming category or topic deep dives — so get your September suggestions in asap <3
The first category I wanted to look into was sportswear and athleisure. What sports are people (and the fashion industry) currently being inspired by, what items/brands/aesthetics/materials people are currently wearing, and what trends are coming up next.
