Dear friends,
Once again, my wonderful conversations with Frank have given me a theme to pursue, and this time it’s The Rough Guide to Shared Reality. These were tougher to write than I expected (I only just finished the last one a few minutes ago, whereas I usually have the next month drafted well in advance). They may also be a difficult journey to undertake too, I’m not sure, but they will certainly be intriguing and worth pondering. Join me as we sketch a line from Plato to Immanuel Kant, and from there down two radically different paths from a fork in the road – one that leads via Bertrand Russell to the objective-subjective divide that I largely repudiate, and one that leads into the vortex of shared reality. I hope you enjoy the ride!
