The last full week of August is a busy one. Stockholm Fringe takes over venues across the city, sample-sale season continues, there are neighbourhood festivals and markets everywhere, and Saturday is particularly packed.
Plus, if you’ve been waiting for an excuse to experience a proper Swedish kräftskiva, this is your weekend, and there are (at least) five different crayfish parties to choose from. 🦞

ATP Atelier opens the doors for a three-day sample sale featuring previous collections, favourites and exclusive pieces. There’s no booking required, so you can simply drop in — although going early is probably a good idea if you have your eye on the best finds.

Spend an afternoon making music in the garden at Vinterviken. Musicians, singers, dancers and listeners are all welcome, with the repertoire centred around Klezmer and Yiddish songs, plus occasional Ladino and Hebrew music. Possibly the most important event of the week: 1,000+ dachshunds taking over central Stockholm. The annual Taxparad starts at Nybroplan and makes its way towards Galärparken on Djurgården. Around 1,000 dachshunds joined last year, and organisers are hoping to beat that number in 2026. All dachshunds are welcome to join.
