Hey everyone,

This was only our second visit to the Frankfurt Book Fair, but what a visit. We’ve now got a title with Thames & Hudson, a new sticker book lined up with both Rizzoli and Laurence King, and our own Soi Books titles being distributed by ACC. Between back-to-back meetings and last-minute runs across the halls, it was a hectic but seriously rewarding fair

Every year Frankfurt feels like publishing’s weather report, and this one was clear: the storm’s moved but the skies are still wild. Europe’s book market grew on paper but mostly because prices rose, not sales. The UK’s sliding, Spain and Scandinavia are shining, and audio is quietly eating print’s lunch. What really surprised everyone was that second-hand sales are exploding. In France, one in five books sold is used. That’s culture recycling itself and it’s reshaping how collectors, publishers, and artists think about value.

For us, the takeaway was simple: keep things collectible, multilingual, and direct. The middle’s shrinking, but the edges are alive. Premium editions, small runs, solid books that feel like objects of devotion. It’s a good time to be independent, if you move fast and keep your margins close. And yes, audiobooks and short forms are rising, but the real action is still in what you can hold, trade, or treasure.

Stickerbomb X-Treme — our next global callout is live. Send us your artwork inspired by extreme sports, motion, and adrenaline.

As we wrap up our Stickerbomb Sneakers book, it’s probably the right moment to announce the next callout — Stickerbomb X-Treme. We’re looking for artwork we can turn into stickers of all things extreme: BMX, snowboarding, motocross, or whatever “extreme” means to you. Surprise us.
