So many good shows this month: Olga de Amaral, GaHee Park, Diedrick Brackens, Betye Saar, and more

Another month, another Arts Digest. This meaty resource I’ve researched, curated, and written (no AI used in this process, ever) aims to connect you with exhibitions, events, jobs, and opportunities in the art world that are actually worth your time.

Pay tribute to the late artist Betye Saar this month by visiting her current shows in Los Angeles and New York. In the Bay Area, living woman artist GaHee Park gets a solo show this month at YBCA and an opening party you’ll want to attend. Plus, a reminder to visit the final weeks of shows by acclaimed contemporary artists Amy Sherald and Suzanne Jackson, two of my favorite exhibition I’ve seen in the past twelve months.

In addition to see lots of great art, I want you to stop scrolling for hours on LinkedIn looking for your dream job this month, and let me do the work for you. Below the paywall, explore over 50+ very cool arts/writing/music/history/publishing-adjacent jobs at some of the most respected arts institutions and brands in the world. If a 9-5 isn’t on your vision board, submit your art and writing to one of the galleries and publications I found sharing open calls in throughout the month.

Follow me on Instagram if you want to see even more contemporary art loveliness in your feed <3
