This 10-minute routine was built for runners in midlife who want to train smarter, not just harder. Using a fabric resistance band and light to medium weights, we focus on the stability and strength work that actually supports your running — the stuff most people skip.
We move through single-leg lunges at the clock face to challenge hip stability and balance, lateral raises with intentional shoulder mechanics, knee drives to reinforce your running stride, and a core finisher that ties it all together.
The circuit runs twice in about 10 minutes. Use it as a pre-run warm-up, a pre-lift primer on leg day, or a standalone recovery workout. Beginners — this works for you too.
No trends. No fluff. Just intelligent movement that respects where your body is right now.
Equipment needed:
Fabric resistance band (light to medium)
Light to medium dumbbells (5–10 lbs)
