Whether we’re practicing permaculture, forming an intentional community or trying to stave off the rising tide of fascism, to succeed we need to do it with other people. Yet other people are notoriously difficult to get along with. They all have their own ideas, their own quirks, and they don’t always agree with me! Yet there are tools and strategies we can use to structure our groups and organizations to favor the behaviors and modes of communication that lead to connection and empowerment. This is a recording of the live and live-streamed talk I gave with Alfred Decker on Friday, August 7 at the Grain et Sens Ecovillage in the Ardeche region of France, where we share the purpose and principles of Social Permaculture.
