SSQRD is a free shopping platform that helps you discover independent brands and products from around the world, all in one place.
I. There’s absolutely no big corporations or fast-fashion in our app.
SSQRD only indexes independent brands from around the world, allowing for a shopping experience without fast-fashion slop taking over search results. We intentionally do not index fast-fashion retailers or large corporations, creating a shopping experience centered around discovering independent businesses instead of algorithmic clutter.
II. Our search and recommendation system does not use AI.
Most shopping platforms rely on AI to generate recommendations. We took a different approach. After months of development, we built our recommendation engine using traditional statistical analysis rather than generative AI. This allows you to search for products, discover visually similar alternatives, and find brands that match your style without AI-generated recommendations shaping your experience.
III. SSQRD is built with users in mind.
We never sell or rent your personal data to third parties. SSQRD is completely free to use, and the consumer app is not monetized through advertising or data sales. Instead, our revenue comes from a separate B2B platform that helps independent brands grow their businesses.

Our Pinterest-style discovery feed helps you browse products based on what you’ve saved and interacted with. If you want to browse only brands you follow, switch to the Following tab.

Search is the heart of SSQRD. Our search indexes millions of data points across independent brands to help you find exactly what you’re looking for.
The more specific your search, the better the results will be. Search by item, material, and budget.

Every product page also recommends visually similar products from other independent brands, including alternatives at different price points, so you can compare options before deciding.
Our Atlas feature (my personal favorite) helps you browse brands by country and region. We have brands from the Americas, Africa, Asia, Europe, and Oceania. You can click on any brand to view its catalog.
The Brand Repository lets you browse brands using filters for:
Country
Product category
Brand identity
And more
It’s one of the easiest ways to discover businesses you likely wouldn’t have found otherwise.

SSQRD is now available on the App Store. If you don’t have an Apple device, you can still use SSQRD on the web, and our Android app is coming to Google Play soon.
