Hello you, just wanted to wish you a sparkly Christmas, and hope you can find time to have a well-earned rest (so far I’ve tried and failed in that respect, so I feel ya if that’s happened to you too).
2025 has been an “eventful” year, and I have no idea which way 2026 is going to go. So let’s cross everything and hope for the best.
In the meantime, have a picture of my lights.
We were decorating the tree for the first time in two years (last Christmas the house was still being repaired after the flood), and it was only then that I realised I had no lights, as they had all been written off by the sea.
So I found these beauties, which very slowly change colour, each in their own special way. No flashing. No alternating. No demo mode that cycles through 8 different attempts to bring on seizures. Just a lovely, slow wander through the spectrum.
Which is an ample description of my existence too.
