At the center of this issue is not just development.

Let’s be direct.

Are they buying off our elected officials here in Solano County or abroad?

If not—then what is driving the level of access, alignment, and momentum behind this project?

Because influence does not appear out of nowhere.

If you will recall, California Forever started the process for their countywide election ballot measure in 2023, https://www.archpaper.com/2024/07/california-forever-withdraws-ballot-solano/ the measure was withdrawn in July 2024. So lets go back to the question at hand:

Are they buying off our elected officials here in Solano County or abroad?

Well in the midst of this process Vacaville City Councilman, Greg Ritchie was “allegedly” colluding with California Forever and violating California Political Reform Act that is enforced by:

*California Fair Political Practices Commission

Greg Ritchie knowingly and deliberately chose to violate California and Federal Laws by doing so. Where is the accountability? Did he stand to gain financially from this venture? Yes he did. Did he know that there was a Countywide initiative in place to get on the 2024 Election Ballot and that his involvement, could and would be a HUGE - CONFLICT OF INTEREST? Yes he did.

This was improper of his elected position. He also violated Campaign/Ballot Measure Violations and Campaign Finance Laws. Our question is, was their bribery involved? Did he receive money and promises from this exchange? I think it’s clear to see that at least two of those things are clear.

LA TIMES ARTICLE

Greg Ritchie - Benicia Independent

Why was he not RECALLED? Why was his resignation not called for from his position as City Councilman, or at that time Vice Mayor ?

Einstein says: "Insanity is doing the same thing over and over again and expecting different results,"

How many times are we going to gossip, and look past elected officials and law enforcement, that make and enforce the laws on others, but DON’T FOLLOW THEM? Solano Watchdogs, say NO MORE.

It’s obvious if you look at the characters in Solano County, mainly Elected Officals that are sniffing in and around California Forever and Jan Sramek, that they are all of questionable character in their own right, so it tells us, he has a type.

California Forever has promised many things to the community and has yet to fulfill any of those promises, what you may ask?:

They stated they were going to support businesses in the community with $400 million and when the Ballot measure was falling, it was gone, matter of fact they stopped their grant funding without a word to the public, just word of mouth. Nowhere did they state that, their commitment was null and void if the ballot measure was withdrawn or failed, that they would pull the resources, that they not only promised, but put up Billboards to entice the County. However, as usual we go about our lives and we let that slide, matter of fact, the only businesses that benefited from receiving those funds, had to sign their allegiance to California Forever and sell their soul (at least that’s how it looked, hmm blackmail anyone).

They promised to build a urgent care in Rio Vista with NorthBay Hospital, that fell flat, as they purchased the building that was previously an urgent care, and nothing more; after buying into that pipe dream NorthBay appealed to the Board of Supervisors asking for money to complete the project that California Forever didn’t complete and did not honor their promise of $250 million towards, because the citizens of Rio Vista, were in opposition, and probably for good reason. According to the document attached and our team attending Board of Supervisors Meetings, it was in fact the Board of Supervisors that saved the day and picked up that failure.

It appears that someone throws temper tantrums, when things don’t go right and takes his investors money away, when he doesn’t get his way:

Is this you Jan? There are similarities.

Now he’s diverted his attention to Mare Island, Collinsville, Suisun City Annex and the Shipdocks. They are offering pennies on the dollar for access to the historical Beauty and value of Suisun City, wow are we that cheap? Are we for sale?

Tell me Solano County, they have been here for 3 years, our community is divided more than ever, California Forever has infiltrated our electeds, what have they actually done, but taken the mask off of us?

“Jan is like the guy, that takes a woman out on a date, and she gets excited and all dressed up, and in his robotic way, he wants to know if he’s getting lucky at the end of the night, the woman says HELL NO, and Jan loses interest and doesn’t show up for dinner. Seems like a fair comparison.”

Jan is NOT a Billionaire, he’s the Billionaires Broker, and what has Jan and his Billionaire crew done? Some may say, Tear our community up via aggression, bullying and divisiveness. It could also be said that he showed how fragile and vulnerable we are, and just like a stranger coming into your family and sowing oats of division, we allowed it and opened the door. Nothing, broken promises, and like a kid with ADHD jumped to another ill planned project after the next, compromising more low self-esteem, power hungry electeds and potential electeds. But how do we even know that these so-called investors are in fact actual current investors? Something to think about.

Public records reviewed by Solano Watch Dog shows that corporate entities connected to California Forever and —including those associated with Jan Sramek— have been created mostly in Delaware as LLC’s and corporations and then shortly thereafter he terminates them. No mention on any legal structure documents of said Billionaires or Investors, so what’s the agreement that was made with Jan for this project. As the Community, we have a right to know, what promises or was promised for a project of this magnitude to Jan himself.

Are these entities being created and terminated to structure the project—or to make it harder for the public to follow what is happening and to throw us off? Think about it, if its harder to track, then there can never be appropriate oversight.

We’ve reached out to the Secretary of State and inquired on companies that are of community interest, we will let you know their response.

We also forwarded our file on Greg Ritchie to investigate his civil or criminal violations, of the California Fair Political Practices Commission and the FBI to see if this is in fact appropriate behavior for a current, sitting City Councilman.

Jan once described Solano County residents as NIMBYS and for those of you that don’t know, that is an insult. It means our inability to learn, grow and see the Bigger Picture. But, we here at Solano Watchdogs embrace it, Post it on your social media: YES I AM A NIMBY:

Not Ignoring Misconduct By You = NIMBY

Groups such as Solano Together and Greenbelt Alliance have been active in raising awareness and mobilizing community voices, or are they just noise that NO REAL ACTION comes from?

Those efforts matter.

But historically, major development battles tend to escalate beyond awareness.

They move into:

  • legal challenges

  • injunctions

  • formal disputes over process, impact, or compliance

Where is the GRIT? In other words, where is the action? Did Solano Together and Greenbelt Alliance support the Suisun City Recall? And although the Recall was not successful, KUDOS to those community members that had the guts to do something. But what’s next?

Should either agency bring together a Class Action Lawsuit against CALIFORNIA FOREVER and or JAN SRAMEK? Or are the real defendants the Investors?:

  • Jan Sramek (Founder / lead organizer) - He pretends to be the mastermind, a master with no money is just a talking head. Imposter Syndrome

  • Reid Hoffman - worth 2.7 Billion Dollars

  • Laurene Powell Jobs - worth 13.4 Billion Dollar

  • Marc Andreessen - 1.9 Billion Dollars

  • Chris Dixon - 50 Million Dollars

  • Patrick Collison - 17.5 Billion Dollars

  • John Collison - 9.3 Billion Dollars

  • Michael Moritz - 6.9 Billion Dollars

Ladies and Gentlemen, should the investors be the real focus of your dismay? Take comfort with stories like David and Goliath, and know that instead of one, you will be walking with the masses to take down the Giant(s).

Together we Stand, Divided, we Fall.

Concerns have been raised regarding the “alleged” actions and potential connections of Greg Ritchie, C.C. Yin, Amit Pal, Assemblymember Lori Wilson, Supervisor Wanda Williams to name a few in relation to ongoing development and political activity connected to California Forever. One of our sources says that California Forever will be putting money into PACS (Political Action Committees) allegedly, such as APAPA, Solano-Napa Labor Union and others, much like Santa Claus, “we are checking 460s/700s once and checking them twice, were gonna find out who’s naughty (getting paid off) or nice, Solano Watchdogs is coming to town”

At this stage, Solano Watch Dogs is reviewing information related to:

  • possible business or professional relationships

  • timing of involvement relative to public decision-making

  • any disclosures made, if applicable

  • communication or coordination with outside entities

No conclusions are being drawn at this time.

However, the situation raises important questions about:

  • transparency

  • potential conflicts of interest

  • and the separation between public responsibilities and private activity

Public officials are expected to act in the best interest of the communities they serve.

When questions arise about overlapping interests, the need for clarity—and documentation—becomes critical.

Solano Watch Dog is actively seeking:

  • relevant records

  • timelines

  • and any documentation that can clarify the nature of these relationships

What we do know is, that California Forever is getting into the Governors race already”, If this project and the Megaminds behind it are so smart and sincere, why the need for so much infiltration into elected officials, and a desire to corrupt the system? Hmmmmmmmm

Republican candidate Steve Hilton, has given a sounding YES to California Forever, even though he’s never visited Solano County or talked to its residents, but our investigators have found that Steve Hilton’s wife ,Rachel Whetstine was a past Executive with Google, interesting.

A video obtained by our investigative team where Steve Hilton in an interview states his excitement and support of Jan and California Forever, its clear that Steve Hilton has either met or is meeting with Jan and is meeting about California Forever. Jan’s go-to is clearly Electeds and Candidates. Watch the video at 25:20 or the entire video watch and listen:

And……………………………..

Where you see CC Yin and Amit Pal, you will see a connection to California Forever. Stay vigilant Solano County. Well how did that work for them?

Let’s hope that Tom Steyer, Katie Porter and Chad Bianco are smarter than being tricked and deceived as some others were.

In situations where questions arise around transparency, conflicts of interest, or public decision-making, one mechanism available to voters is the RECALL process.

That raises a broader question:

What level of concern—or evidence—triggers public action?

Recall efforts are not initiated lightly. They typically require:

  • widespread public awareness

  • clearly defined concerns or allegations

  • organized community action

  • and, often, documented evidence

Still, when questions continue to surface without clear answers and elected are serving themselves and no longer the interest of the people, it is not uncommon for the public to begin evaluating all available accountability options.

We can all agree that California Forever, wherever you stand on the issue, is a hot-bed issue, but this is not by far the biggest issue that we have in Solano County. Our County is drowning, and the questions can be asked:

Is your local vote enough?

Are the residents not involved and not asking enough questions of our electeds?

Or are we electing the wrong people for the wrong jobs?

IN OTHER NEWS…

There is growing concern about the direction of leadership in Fairfield.

As major business activity shifts and economic uncertainty increases, residents are asking a simple question:

Is the City being led effectively?

This is no longer a quiet concern—it’s becoming a public conversation.

Why is the Chief of Police, Dan Marshall requesting Measure P funding due to budget concerns?

At the same time, recent personnel decisions raise questions:

  • A new Records Assistant was hired

  • Multiple officers were promoted to Sergeant and Lieutenant

If the department is facing financial strain, the public deserves clarity:

How do these staffing and promotion decisions align with claims of budget shortfalls?

And more directly:

Were these decisions made with long-term fiscal responsibility in mind—or is the department now asking taxpayers to fill the gap?

The closure tied to Anheuser-Busch has raised serious questions.

Solano Watch Dog has received information that, allegedly, City leadership may have had prior awareness of the decision.

If true, that raises immediate concerns:

  • Why wasn’t the public informed?

  • What actions were taken—if any?

  • Was there an opportunity to respond or intervene?

These questions demand clear answers. Or is the answer that we are not electing competent individuals with emotional intelligence, leadership and Public Policy experience? These questions are getting more and more legitimized.

Jelly Belly has layed off employees, small businesses are closing throughout the entire county, What is abundantly clear is that we have elected incompetent, power hungry individuals, that can’t see their way out of an open shoe box and yet, they are managing our City’s right into the GROUND, with a straight face.

Is our solution to this crisis SBDC, Workforce Development, Solano EDC? These organizations are JOKES, they have no expertise or resources, matter of fact, they should be AUDITED for their EXCESSIVE Administrative expenditures that largely out ways their community contribution. Workforce Development just received $3 million from CA EDD and we are requesting a State and Federal audit of top heavy, large salary staff.

Hosting Job Fairs where there are not enough jobs and neither agency has sufficient training themselves, and their idea of training is throwing clients in front of computers and counting the grant money as it rolls in. We have to demand better Solano County.

If you have any legitimate information or documentation, please contact tips.solanowatchdogs@proton.me

When major employers leave or reduce operations, the impact is real.

Residents and stakeholders are now asking:

  • Is Fairfield positioned to retain businesses?

  • What is the economic plan moving forward?

  • Who is accountable when opportunities are lost?

This is not theoretical—it affects jobs, revenue, and the future of the city.

Concerns that rise to the occasion of /Election violation, Criminal violation or Violation of Color of Law will be immediately be directed to the appropriate and State and Federal and National news outlet agencies

This newsletter is a little top heavy with California Forever this article, but we will be reporting all around the County and exposing corruption LOUDLY. And involving Federal/State Law Enforcement and Civil Enforcement Agencies. No more entitlement, we want accountability, and we want it now.
