Conflict or Coincidence? Fairfield City Councilwoman K. Patrice Williams Under Scrutiny for Overlapping Roles.
**We received a number of tips to look into the “alleged” business dealings of Fairfield City Councilwoman K. Patrice Williams and we are still investigating.**
Let’s Stop Dancing Around It.
When an elected official holds influence over public systems and is also connected to organizations operating inside those same systems, people are going to ask questions.
Not because it’s personal. Because it’s public.
The Core Issue: Overlap and Access:
Public records show multiple roles across elected office, business, nonprofit, and advisory bodies connected to housing, workforce, and funding systems.
Why This Matters?
Influence doesn’t require direct control of money—just presence in decision-making spaces. This structure raises conflict-of-interest concerns under California’s Political Reform Act.
The Question That Hasn’t Been Answered
- Was there a recusal?
- Who approved the grants?
- Where are the records?
Most Importantly, why would a sitting Councilwoman have access to approval from the County, specifically for her personal non profits and businesses? Based upon financial records obtained by our team, her financial status significantly increased “allegedly”, once elected in 2022.
Has this sitting City Councilwoman used her position and relationships in the County to obtain grants/funding? You be the Judge.
This Isn’t an Isolated Concern
Similar structural concerns have been raised in other local cases involving elected officials and overlapping influence. Remember, Dear Greg Ritchie? And we are still investigating and working with outside agencies for the appropriate accountability, but back to K. Patrice Williams.
Power Without Transparency Is the Real Risk
This is about concentration of influence across:
- Public office
- Nonprofit leadership
- Business operations
- Funding advisory roles

However, we do want to note, 2 very important items here in all:
Earl Hall and Myles Hall appear to be the Chief Operations Officer/Chief Financial Officer/Secretary. Her son and husband. Hmmmmmm
It’s good to be a sitting City Council woman in Fairfield, where the entire Council and Mayor sit back and say nothing or neither inquire about misconduct and violations, hmm but there’s probably a good reason for that. Glasses houses and All.
It looks like since becoming a Fairfield City councilwoman, K. Patrice William’s network has certainly increased. In the words of Drake: “She started from the bottom, now she here.”
It appears that she has “allegedly” PROFITED SIGNIFICANTLY from her elected position. YOU BE THE JUDGE! These are only a few of the County payoffs to our Fairfield City Council woman to her personal businesses. Take a look:
Wow! This lady is racking it in. But sidebar here, Who in Solano County approved these Grants for a sitting Councilwoman that is actually in leadership positions on boards and commissions, and by its own definition is BLATANTLY violating the political reform act and others, are you kidding ? We demand to know, this is a OUTRAGEOUS.
K. Patrice Williams, owns a transition house in Vallejo/ Glen Cove area. The house was positioned originally, and for years, as a home for recently released incarcerated women, but since her arrival to public office and sitting on various Housing Boards including J Cap for the Homeless…
And just like that… the Hazels Tranquility house, is NOW transformed, and no longer a facility for women out of incarceration, it is now for Homeless families and Women, and its receiving County and State funding. We should ALL be outraged and concerned.

A public official cannot: Participate in a decision where they have a financial interest

Officials must disclose:
Business interests
Sources of income
Real property
Positions held in organizations
Self-Dealing / Use of Position
Law: Govt Code § 1090
Prohibits:
Officials from being financially interested in contracts made in their official capacity
Gift / Income Reporting Issues
If applicable:
Undisclosed payments
Improper gifts
Compensation tied to influence
Criminal Violations
Handled by prosecutors:
Willful concealment
Intentional corruption
Fraud or bribery
CALL TO ACTION
This isn’t just about transparency. It’s about accountability.
With K. Patrice Williams four years coming to a close, voters have a decision to make:
Is this the level of overlap and influence the CITIZENS want representing us moving forward? Does this fall under the header of PUBLIC CORRUPTION?
Because when public roles, private organizations, and funding-adjacent positions intersect this closely…
It raises a serious question: Whose interests are being prioritized?
**We have also received many tips and documentation to look into claims of “alleged” bullying, extortion, pressuring citizens, county workers, and using her position, and that of her friends to influence outcomes. Our team is actively investigating these claims.**

WHAT WILL COME NEXT -
We have forwarded our concerns to the necessary State/Federal Civil and Criminal Agencies to open necessary investigations into Fairfield City Councilwoman’s K. Patrice Williams business transactions and the involvement of Earl and Myles Hall and the legality.
And we have noted her “alleged” personal relationships and influence networks involving elected officials such as Assemblymember Lori Wilson and Assemblymember Mia Bonta to name a few, and we will make sure that it does not interfere with a thorough investigation and accountability, as it will involve the California Attorney Generals Office.

Elected officials hold legislative and policy influence. But the public holds something greater:
And for those we can’t RECALL, since K. Patrice Williams term expires January 2027, we can sure as HELL keep her out of office and hold her accountable for violating her oaths and responsibilities to the citizens. The Power is in your hand!
