Accessorizing with Peace

With any outfit (or “fit” like the cool kids say), no matter your gender, there’s an opportunity to add details that bring the look all together (I am not particularly great at this, but I have friends who are!).

These additions are intentional choices. You don’t just happen to be accessorized (otherwise it would have happened to me...).

Our lives are the same. We can intentionally add elements that just work, and make the way we show up in the world a unique expression of who we are and who we want to be.

Let’s accessorize with Peace. Let’s adorn ourselves with Kindness. Heck. Let’s go crazy and just drip with Charity.

And maybe -- like literal accessorizing -- we’re better at it than we think we are...and all along we just needed to give ourselves permission and simply do it in the way that feels authentic to us.
