Well, long time no see. I don’t want to throw so many excuses out there and just have a run-on sob story of sorts. I want you all to know that the beginning of every year for SeerNova Comics is almost like pushing a giant boulder up a steep hill. That is what it seems to be last couple of years, at least.
We have been doing this for 8 years, and in August it will be 9 full years! Last year, we were playing catch-up on getting some of our titles out there, and though it took longer than expected, we did it.
This year, we are working on growing. You may think we’ve been doing this, but all we have done so far is create connections, have a podcast that has been around since 2019, create an annual virtual expo, and, of course creating comics.
In 2026, we are planning to grow not just more comics, but as a business as a whole. We put some things off that should’ve been executed earlier in our journey.
The mailing list, one of the most, if not THE MOST important asset of a business, will be a main focal point and growth spot this year for us.
There are some exciting things on the horizon for us! What are some of these things?
It took some time, but after a couple of years, after some retooling/rebranding of The Seer Chronicles, we will be launching Fireproof Issue #1!

We originally were going to launch a Kickstarter this Summer for the Mittens: Space Pilot Trade, but due to Josh trying to figure out his schedule going forward, we are pushing it to 2027. Instead, we are releasing ashcans of stories within the Mittensverse!
Hopefully, there will be a long-awaited 2nd issue getting some work on as well this Summer! More on that later!
Speaking of ashcans, we are launching a Kickstarter this Fall that will be a series of horror-themed ashcans. Some of these ashcans will be full series later on! Also, we have moved to the next step with our final issue of Chronicles of Horror called Nightmare at Camp Lovejoy, which will be launching in 2027! We are offering it as separate floppy copies and the full trade version in the campaign.
Finally, the 7th year of the SNCC Virtual Expo will be live from November 27-29th, 2026!
