Everyone is settling into their positions as we undertake our 40th volume of Scribendi. We are back from our summer break and more energized than ever. Read ahead to see some of our activities and important events to keep an eye out for.
Our teambuilding event was a success. In record time, we untangled our human knot with only a minimal number of detachments and an acceptable amount of sweat. We discussed our strengths and weaknesses, and I can tell you, we have an incredible staff this year!
As we get the engines pumping on our fundraising, please keep a lookout for some tasty and fun ways to support us.
We have a Scribendi Bake Sale coming up very soon! Plans are being made for the latter half of September, as we are in talks to get a table set at Smith Plaza, so listen up for any more updates. You’ll want to be there as we will have some fun and exciting flavors, along with some classics.
UNM Homecoming for our alumni is also up ahead. Our Scribendi staff will be holding a silent auction on October 18th, where the opportunity to bid on a variety of hot commodities from our community will be available.
