Why Is Peter Thiel So Preoccupied With the Antichrist?

One of my earliest encounters with the idea of the Antichrist was through Omen III: The Final Conflict and its character Damien Thorn, played memorably by the late Sam Neill.

Peter Thiel has increasingly spoken about the Antichrist, Armageddon, artificial intelligence, global government, technological control, and the promise of “peace and safety.” His unusual preoccupation raises important questions.

Is Thiel warning us about the political and technological conditions through which a false salvation might emerge? Or does his analysis risk becoming entangled with the very powers and systems he warns against?

In the article, I examine his ideas in relation to Christian teaching on deception, false peace, centralized power, and the Antichrist.
