There’s no doubt that we all love a classic mac and cheese. However, how do we take this to the next level and turn it into something showstopping? The surf and turf mac and cheese is born - a wonderfully creamy pasta, filled with lobster, served with a golden brown crusted, medium-rare steak. The dish is packed FULL of flavour, making it a big crowd pleaser, and even if lobster isn’t your thing, these can easily be swapped out with some seared prawns for an equally impressive meal.

  • Sauce - A silky-smooth cheese sauce is an essential step in any good mac and cheese. We’re doing it the proper way, making a bechamel from scratch, then turning it into a mornay sauce by adding 3 different cheeses and a few subtle spices for a subtle pop of flavour

  • Pasta - Whichever shape you go for, make sure to pick one with lots of surface area so the sauce can cling to every bit of it. Cooking it al dente is essential here to avoid overcooking it when it goes in the oven for the final bake.

  • Lobster & Steak - Two ingredients that can so often be overdone and ruined. Follow the simple steps below to get perfect cooking every time.

Let’s show you how to make it…
