Questions I have about AI-led software development

If everyone uses AI, then wouldn't the competitive edge remain the same? If everyone's execution velocity increases, then wouldn't it become the normal velocity? If every average software developer can become 10x developer, would 10x developer become 100x? Or does everyone end up becoming 10x so everyone is just 1x developer? have I stumbled upon something profound or am I just being dumb?

I wrote this before my interview

INFO publishing today, but I wrote this sometime in April, before my interview. don't remember the exact date. I am so nervous right now I was supposed to be prepared I was supposed to re-enter the workplace with vengeance I was supposed to be up-skilled to take on new challenges this is not how I imagined it to be I don't know if I would measure up I don't know if they would see through me I…

I just had an IED episode

TRIGGER WARNING - Angry outburst. This story is about Intermittent Explosive Disorder, read more I am a self diagnosed IED person. I think I always had it since I was a kid. I still do, but I had it as well. If I remember correctly, I stumbled upon this term somewhere in 2023. It accurately captures how I feel when I get angry. I have angry outbursts, and intense urge to break things. But…

The need to be perfect continues to strangle my life

I have always been a 'independent and perfectionist' as far as I can remember. As a kid I used to associate it as a mark of pride - of doing the things the right way all on my own. It's only when I reached high school, I got to know I use that as a shield to avoid any criticism and never reach out to others to avoid being seen as vulnerable. Thanks mom and my big bro for the constant criticism and…

have you noticed how tech-bros 'predict' the future?

TLDR - They do it in three parts - state the obvious problem - state a well-known established fact - suggest an outlandish + open-ended solution Let me explain my insight from an interview with Bhavish Aggarwal, CEO Of Ola Cabs (India's UBER) from 2014 excerpt from the interview - Is there a technological breakthrough you expect in the transport sector? Let me talk about what we are building.…

if everyone can please, 'justify'

I know - and I understand that everyone has the right to set up their blog the way they want. However, it just bothers me so much that whenever I read articles/blogs online, they are 'left-aligned' instead of 'justified' . Open up any novel and you'll almost always see them 'justify' formatted and NOT 'left-aligned' . Even here, all the blogs I have come across so far are 'left-aligned' . I can't…
